Guided Meditation
Through meditation and visualization techniques, patients learn to self-soothe, detach from distressing thought cycles, and embrace a positive vision for their future. Clients learn to embrace the principles of mindfulness, positive thought and nonjudgmental experience through daily guided meditation. Trained meditation guides walk clients through meditative practice each day, helping to reduce stress, manage anger and let go of negative cognition’s or unhelpful beliefs.

Creative Arts Therapy
Some experiences and emotions can be difficult to verbalize with speech. Creative arts therapy allows patients to access deeply held emotions that may be repressed, or simply challenging to describe. As patients experience and express emotions and beliefs through artwork, art therapists elicit insight, perspective and healing in this integrated therapy. Many of our patients have found their inner muse through their therapeutic art experiences, as well, continuing artistic expressions during well into their recovery.
